Ragna Kjartansdóttir, known as Cell7, is a multifaceted rapper, singer, and sound engineer. A pioneer in the Icelandic rap scene, she serves as an inspiration to both established artists and women entering the genre. As a solo artist, she has released two albums: Cellf and Is Anybody Listening?, the latter winning the Icelandic Music Award for Hip Hop and Rap Album of the Year in 2019 and earning a nomination for the Nordic Music Prize that same year.
Beyond her music career, Ragna has gained recognition as a sound designer, winning the Icelandic Film Award for her wound design on the series The Valhalla Murders. Her talent for crafting immersive soundscapes sets her apart. Additionally, she is an experienced educator, having served as a guest lecturer at the Technical College and leading sound design and rap workshops at various youth centers.
